NAVIGATION TABS
A lot of people have asked me how I made the navigation tabs and pages on my blog so I have decided to oblige with a quick tutorial. What I did was a combination of a few different tutorials and information I found online so I’ve tried to credit people where I can. Doing this makes you blog look, and act, more like a ‘real’ website. NB This tutorial is for Blogger Blogs.
The steps I took to achieve my new pages and layout were:
• Set up a navigation bar underneath my blog header
• Link to my blog home page and my shop with navigation tabs
• Making ‘about me’ static page
• Make a ‘contact me’ static page
• Hiding the sidebar on the static pages
First off before you do anything you have to make sure you’re using draft blogger, to do this go to Blogger in Draft and tick the box that says “make blogger in draft my default dashboard” This allows you to use their static pages.
Follow the five steps to set up your own navigation bar, link to your shop and static pages. Leave a comment to let me know how you get on!
Go to step one - set up navigation bar
